Even If He Has 99 Problems, Degrading Women Is No Longer One Of Them

January 16th, 2012

WOW. Imagine never hearing the word “b***H’ ever again in a Jay-Z song. It’s true! The rapper has recently announced he has a new view of life since his daughter entered his, and his derogatory comments towards women are a thing of the past from this point forward.

‘Cause that’s the power of Blue Ivy Carter. Already having a song chart on the Billboard Top 100, the newborn is also changing the way her father looks at his career and her future.

Jay-Z wrote a poem to celebrate the birth of his daughter, and NME.com revealed the poem proves Jay-Z’s vows to change his music in regards to his treatment of women:

“Before I got in the game, made a change, and got rich
I didn’t think hard about using the word b*tch
I rapped, I flipped it, I sold it, I lived it
Now with my daughter in this world I curse those that give it…

…No man will degrade her, or call her name.
I’m so focused on your future, the degradation has passed.
I wish you wealth, health and insight.
Forever young you may pass. Blue Ivy Carter, my angel”

Jay-Z’s a tough guy, but it’s sweet to see him pretty much melt at the hands of his newborn daughter. But I can’t imagine any other father not doing the same.
