Exclusive! The Next Star winner Charlie talks about reality show competitions and her next single

While American Idol, X Factor, The Voice and America’s Got Talent seem to be on a never-ending rotation of seasons, pre-teens are tuning in by the masses to watch youths aged 15 and younger compete in YTV’s singing competition, The Next Star. This year’s winner is Calgary’s Charlie, who wowed the judges enough to beat out 4,000 other contestants.

We talked to Charlie about the competition, working with the judges and what’s next for the rising star.
