The first four performers have been announced for the 2012 Junos, taking place in Ottawa next year on Sunday, April 1. City and Colour, Feist, Blue Rodeo and deadmau5 will all be hitting the stage at the Scotiabank Place this spring as part of the line up for the 2012 awards ceremony.
City and Colour’s Dallas Green is already a Juno award-winning artist who will be celebrating the success of his 2011 disc Little Hell. Fellow Juno-winner Feist will also be performing after releasing her disc Metals this year. Electronic artist deadmau5, who holds the record along with Drake for the most Grammy nominations for a Canadian, will be performing for the first time at the Canadian awards show. Lastly, folk-rock legends Blue Rodeo will be honoured with an induction into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame at the awards ceremony.
