I am super excited to post this First Spin of Swedish record Producer, Andreas Kleerup. I know… I know…. it might not be your typical MuchMusic.com first spin of mainstream pop, rock, or hip hop but I definitely think this album deserves your attention. Just give it a listen and please comment to what you think.

If you read music blogs… which duh… obviously you do – you are probably very familiar with his huge hit single – With Every Heartbeat” feat. Fellow Swedish superstar, Robyn.

Well this album features many other great tracks including collaborations with Lykki Li (my fave song), Titiyo, and Marit Bergman. (Don’t worry I didn’t know who some of those people were either). The album is real. The album is alive. It’s so friggggin’ easy to listen to and really get into – right from the killer first instrumental track – hero. I think I’ve done just about everything listening to this album. Walked to work, worked out, lied in bed, danced, etc. etc. etc.

While doing some research about about Kleerup I read an interesting line stating that his music is “unmistakeably human” and I couldn’t agree more. It’s easy to feel yourself in his music. But before I go way to sappy on you about the guy, I just want to let you know that he has been in a metal band as well as a symphony orchestra. He’s a producer and a DJ. A very muti-talented artist that deserves a listen.
