Listen to The Scripts Science and Faith right here!
Need to know: Three-piece Irish rock/pop band The Script experienced moderate success with their 2008 self titled release after having a handful of their hits featured on 90210, Ghost Whisperer, The Hills, Waterloo Road, Eastenders and The Vampire Diaries. After moving to LA the band began working with One Republic’s Teddy Riley and R ‘n B singer Montell Jordan. In 2010 The Script performed with UK heavyweights Mark Ronson, McFly and The Saturdays.
100 words or so: Two of The Scripts three members met while performing in an Irish boyband, bringing a pop quality that makes the rock group prime candidates for radio dominance. Their work with One Republic’s Teddy Riley is evident throughout the album with heartfelt, motivational lyrics. The bands collaboration with B.o.B. on Walk Away is a clear contender to a chart topper in 2011. Their uplifting and thoughtful lyrics coupled with their melodic rock and pop sound is sure to make The Script a mainstream favourite this year.
