After a sudden leak earlier in the week, the new U2 album No Line On The Horizon has been made available to the world in its entirety.
U2 is arguably the biggest rock band in the world and has maintained its relevance in recent years by not caving to trends (cough cough Timbaland) and pumping out album after album of loud inspirational rock ‘n roll.
After a decade of this though, it sounds like they have taken a turn and gone back to their mid-80s influences and hooked up with longtime collaborators Brian Eno and Hamilton boy Daniel Lanois to create a more atmospheric record than their last 3.
The album flows smoothly over 11 songs and makes you feel like you are on a long desert road trip – perhaps in Joshua Tree park.
There are no cheesy Tomb Raider 3 soundtrack singles here. Just a group of great guitar-driven rock songs.
Take a listen and when the album comes out you can pick it up in a slew of different formats including posters, magazines, and DVDs.
