Earlier today I “flicked off” - Flick Off is a dynamic campaign to reduce the production of greenhouse gases and obviously preserve the environment.

What I don’t understand is - considering what is going on around the world, why getting people involved with the environment is even an issue! I guess people are selfish - no one seems to care about anything unless it affects them personally. Well, just a heads up to everyone: THE ENVIRONMENT WILL affect you personally. It’s not really that much effort to turn off a light, or the television when leaving a room. I know, I know, you’re just running downstairs ‘quickly’ - well matter of factly if you’re going to be more than 3 seconds it’s worth turning that switch off.

And taking an over-sized shopping bag from every store that you so much as purchase a toothbrush from, well that has got to stop! That “peacock” syndrome of taking shopping bags as a status symbol, representative of where people shop is weak, these people prance around the malls with all these bags, screaming “look at me and all the stuff I have and where I bought it”…save me the antics and the environment well you’re at it!
