Florence and the Machine team up with Josh Homme for MTV Unplugged

It’s gonna be a night of singing gingers on the upcoming MTV Unplugged special featuring Florence and the Machine. The British band, led by front woman Florence Welch, will hit the carpeted stage for a night of originals and covers, including tracks Only If For A Night, Dog Days Are Over and Shake It Out. The band will cover Otis Redding’s Try A Little Tenderness as well as the Johnny Cash/June Carter duet Jackson. For the male vocals on Jackson, Florence Welch will be joined by Queens of the Stone Age singer Josh Homme. That right there is worth tuning in to hear.

Florence and the Machine’s MTV Unplugged will air on MTV Canada at 9 pm ET on Tuesday, April 17. Check out the full track listing for the special below.
