Florence Welch has reportedly invited Harry Styles to collaborate

After spending time together during this past weekend’s Reading Festival, Florence and The Machine front woman Florence Welch has reportedly invited One Direction’s Harry Styles to sing backing vocals for the band anytime he wants. Welch and her band opened their set with One Direction’s break out song What Makes You Beautiful as a tribute to Styles, who watched the set from the side of the festival stage.

A source close to both artists told The Sun, “She told him if he ever wanted to sing backing vocals with the band on stage, he was more than welcome.” The UK paper has also published a photo of Florence and The Machine band members Chris Hayden and Rob Ackroyd, who was recently linked to Katy Perry, planting friendly kisses on Style’s cheeks. Expect a slew of Twitter threats, gentlemen.
