It’s actually dangerous

Hey, everyone. Welcome to my Foo Fighters photo blog!
My name is Dustin Rabin and I’ve been shooting bands for over 15 years. I do a lot of press shots and album covers, but I am probably more well-known for my concert photography.
For me, there is no greater thrill in the world than being closer to the stage than front row centre, and capturing what I see with my camera.
Way back in the early days of my career (in 1995, before it was even a career….) I shot the first night of Foo Fighters first headlining tour at the Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver.
I’ll never forget the crunching guitars ripping into me from the stage monitors during those first three songs. The rest of the show was pretty much a blur because I couldn’t calm down from that rush!!
Since then I have been fortunate enough to shoot Foo Fighters at least a dozen times, leaving me with thousands of photographs, and countless great memories.
The most important thing to remember is that it all started with three songs.
Now it’s your turn. MuchMusic is giving you the opportunity to hang out in the photo pit, IN FRONT of the front row, for three songs at a Foo Fighters concert!!
If you haven’t entered the contest yet, go do it!
Stay tuned for more bog entries and maybe another FF picture or two…
