Four Months ’til A New Strokes Albums Hits Shelves?

Can March 2011 come any faster for you Strokes fans? It’s actually that much closer ‘cause guess what – the album is DONE! There’s still work to be done (mixing and stuff) but they’re on track to hit that street date next year.

Previously, insiders and fans alike thought a March 2011 release was just a rumour but a recent tweet proves otherwise:

Lead singer Julian Casablancas tweeted: “Still not going to be out for a few months-mixing, etc, but JUST finally finished it yesterday actually!?”

Let’s hope the as-yet-untitled-project gets a title soon to keep us hoping the album will indeed drop in four months time!
