Beyonce may have been celebrating the Fourth of July weekend in New York on Friday, but she was repping some big Canadian talent on the stage. Beyonce performed in Central Park on Friday as part of the Good Morning America summer concert series wearing a bold yellow cut-out dress by Mark Fast.

Fast, originally from Winnipeg but now living and working in the U.K., is famous for his body-hugging knits and web-like designs that show off just enough skin to be sexy. He’s dressed everyone from Ciara and Rihanna to our very own Sarah Taylor, who rocked a slinky black Mark Fast top on the recent MMVA red carpet.

Beyonce’s dress was super short to show off her gorgeous legs, and had fringe detailing along the hem – totally in trend this summer! (She later changed into a similar black dress, also by Mark Fast, for an encore performance!)

B finished off the look with some statement earrings and Stuart Weitzman heels covered in Swarovski crystals.
