Ay yi yi. Not only do I have a performance from M.I.A. to look forward to at Toronto’s Virgin Festival in September (don’t get in the way of my front & centre, people!), but finally we get to clasp album number 2 (”Kala”) in our clammy mitts this August. If the track “Bird Flu” was any indication, “Kala” could easily hit us with a sickness - cause the album is gonna be ILL. (Groan! Sorry)

There’s no way “Kala” can disappoint now - the official first single “Boyz” is making its rounds and … holy %@#&! Whammy of a beat, totally chant-alongable and of course, it all comes down to the message. You can listen to it and watch the video here!
