Blair picks her bridesmaids, Chuck discovers Louis’ dirty secret, Serena kills Dan’s movie deal and Nate goes public with Diana. You know, just your average day on the Upper East Side.
In case you missed it, check it out HERE, then read on for a new hook-up that may just destroy Gossip Girl once and for all!

So who did Blair pick as her final bridesmaid? After including Beatrice and Serena, she has room for one more member…and that’s Charlie Rhodes. But that’s not the best part. Charlie snagged her invite to the royal party by kissing Nate Archibald, a challenge Blair set up as part of her Bridesmaid Olympics! Other tasks include baby bump hiding, toasting, and only flirting with rich men.

Now let’s get to the real dirt from last week: Louis’ dirty little secret. He was paying the psychiatrist Chuck recently starting seeing to turn him back into the womanizing monster he once was. Why? Louis found the paternity test Blair hid BUT HE DIDN’T OPEN THE LETTER!
If you think your future wife slept with another man, then hmm….I don’t know, why don’t you CONFRONT HER!?!

Louis deserves what he gets at this point, quite frankly.

In any case, Chuck discovered the connection and took his own revenge – he ruined the psychiatrist’s career and exposed Louis’ part in it. But he did get some therapy out of the whole ordeal: he finally let go of Blair by apologizing for everything he’s ever done (including the hotel fiasco) and returned her engagement ring.

Now that’s growth.

Onto Serena’s killing of Dan’s movie deal. Her boss Jane was going to Zuckerberg Dan (To Zuckerberg: to make as douchy as Mark Zuckerberg in The Social Network). Because Serena promised she would protect Dan’s work, her only option now is murder.

Killing the movie deal, of course.
In walks Diana Payne who is just a little too eager to become Serena’s BFF. She offers Serena a way to kill the deal in return for a job offer. Diana wants Serena to work for The Spectator as an opposite force to Gossip Girl.
Done and done. Next week, Serena goes to work as Diana’s latest pawn.

Speaking of pawns, Nate decided he wants to go public with the news he’s dating Diana. Because that’s what they do on Diana’s desk behind closed doors – go on dates. But when she rebuffs him, Nate decides to get his flirt on with Charlie instead.

Diana actually gets jealous, threatens Charlie (hahaha – is there an episode where Charlie isn’t threatened by Diana?) and eventually goes public with her much younger boytoy Nate on the frontpage of The Spectator.

Who am I? That’s one secret I’ll never tell. You know you love me. XOXO.
