An artist has to put in a lot of hard work into their music – photo shoots, dance practice and vocal training, just to name a few. The videos below follow pop star Austin Mahone as he gets ready for the spotlight. Going behind the scenes, we see everything Mahone has to do in preparation for an upcoming gig in Boston as well as dress up and pose in front of the camera for an album photo shoot. It’s a rare glimpse into an artist’s job and just proves that it’s not all fun and games for musicians. That being said, Mahone does take a little time off to pull a prank on his bodyguard by smashing a whipped cream pie in his face when he least expects it.
