Gossip Girl star joins Weezer for Halloween gig

Gossip Girl’s Leighton Meester performed with Weezer on Halloween night in New York City.

The actress who plays Blair Waldorf, joined Weezer frontman Rivers Cuomo for a duet on the band’s new single, “(If You’re Wondering If I Want You To) I Want You To.”

While Meester may be the more inexperienced singer of the two, it was Cuomo who botched his own song when he forgot to sing his part of the second verse.

Weezer’s new album, Raditude, will be out in stores on Tuesday.

It was a great show. “(If You’re Wondering If I Want You To) I Want You To.” is one of the many wonderful songs on the new CD. It’s not everyone’s cup of tea - but I love Raditude.
