Who am I? That’s one secret I’ll never tell. You know you love me. XOXO Gossip Girl.
The famous words of TV’s most notorious blogger.
Spotted: The season four premiere of Gossip Girl immediately following the 2010 MTV VMAs exclusively on MuchMusic, September 12, 2010. And don’t miss the entire new season of GG every Monday @ 8PM ET on Much.
It’s time to dish on the lives of the rich and privileged socialites of the Upper East Side. It was not a happy ending for our pampered Cinderellas at the end of season three. Blair and Serena took off to Paris, Jenny left for Hudson and Vanessa left for her internship. The men were left confused, heartbroken and in one case left for dead. Here’s the scoop from season three!
This was the year of “little J”. She rose to the top of the social ladder and discovered one is the loneliest number. After failing to land Nate Archibald how did she cope? With the loving body of another lost soul, the devilish Chuck Bass. In the end that wasn’t enough for Jenny Humphrey and she left town to live with her mother.
Spotted: Little J will be back for the second half of the season. And we’re all dying to know if she’ll still be Blair 2.0 or back to boring when she returns.
And speaking of the devilish Chuck Bass we’re not sure if he made it to the end credits of season three. After Dan exposes him (and gives him yet another black eye) for sleeping with Jenny, Chuck drowns his sorrows over losing Blair with his other BFF Al Cohal. But trouble comes calling and Chuck answers. He’s mugged, robbed of his engagement ring for Blair, shot and left for dead in an alley.
Spotted: A newly reformed Chuck Bass shows up strong, alive and with a new mystery girl in Paris! But will he be a changed man?
After a string of romances Serena van der Woodsen finally gives in to her long-time friend Nate Archibald. But other problems put a halt on the pair ever becoming something solid. William van der Woodsen (Serena’s father) re-enters her life. He tries to steal her mother Lily back from Rufus Humphrey by falsely giving Lily pills and a misdiagnosis. Nate and Jenny Humphrey get closer as Serena deals with her issues solo. But Serena manages to salvage her relationship only to lose it again after one moment of weakness when she kisses her ex-lover (AKA “lonely boy”) Dan Humphrey. Guess she should have cried on her boyfriends shoulder instead.
Spotted: Two men vying for the arm of Serena: one rich boy turned bad and one good boy turned dad.
Blair Waldorf is also dealing with her broken heart. After going back and forth with Chuck for years she finally accepted Chuck as her one and only. But their happy reunion is short-lived as “B” discovers “little J” did the nasty with Chuck. From then on it was Good-bye Chuck and Hello Par-reeeeeee! She leaves New York with Serena to enjoy the good life in Europe.
Spotted: Blair’s problems are waiting for her on the Upper East Side and in Paris. Everyone loves a good trainwreck!
Dan Humphrey on the other hand has a bigger surprise to handle. Georgina Sparks made her triumphant return with a baby belly and the message “it’s yours” for Dan. His girlfriend Vanessa Abrams also left him for an internship at CNN. But she left not entirely convinced she could handle a long-distance relationship. Just wait till she finds out her man’s been busy and is now a baby-daddy!
Spotted: Vanessa making her debut once again for November sweeps…so we’ll have to wait and see what the cards hold for Vanessa and Dan and the little baby Humphrey.
XOXO! See you for the Season Four Premiere!
