Green Day First Spin

The 21st Century Breakdown could be a number of things – it’s open to interpretation, you know. It could be what Britney Spears experienced a couple years ago (and what, quietly, she’s still going through). It could be the DEMISE OF OUR PLANET BY ALIEN MONKEYS. It doesn’t really matter though, cause today it means one thing and one thing only: the new Green Day album.

It’s been 5 years since this trio released an album. Five years!!! Do you know what’s happened in 5 years? Of course you do, that’s a lame question. I’m just saying that we’ve waited a long time for this – but now it’s here, and it’s here even earlier than you thought it would be because we’re streaming the entire album right now. Cause ummm, it’s not even in stores until next week!

You know what to do. Spin it, marinate on it, and tell us what you think. Worth the wait? (Oh, and read about it here – there’s some interesting info about how it’s divided into three acts and all that jazz).
