The first look of Green Day’s own Rock Band game has hit the net.
EW.com has exclusive details of the video game, including screen grabs and a full tracklisting. And like The Beatles: Rock Band, the game “uses distinct virtual venues” to represent different eras of Green Day’s career.
These eras and venues are as follows: American Idiot is played at the National Bowl in Milton Keynes, England, where Green Day shot their DVD Bullet in a Bible. 21st Century Breakdown is in the Fox Theater, the venue where they played a memorable show last year in their hometown of Oakland, California. And for their breakthrough album Dookie, a “fictional hole in the wall” named The Warehouse was designed to show the band in their humble “punk rock” beginnings.
Players will be allowed to dig into 47 of the band’s songs, including Dookie, American Idiot and 21st Century Breakdown in their entirety, as well as singles from Warning, Nimrod and Insomniac.
Green Day: Rock Band hits stores on June 8th.
