Green Day’s new live album expected in March

Back in September we reported that Green Day were in the midst of recording a new live album. And while no official news has come of that album, a listing has appeared online that says it will be with us sooner than we imagined.

Amazon.com is now accepting pre-orders for a brand new Green Day album titled Awesome As F**k. The title is listed for release on March 15, 2011 as a two-disc set by the band’s label, Reprise. According to fan site, Green Day Authority, the release is confirmed and the second disc is expected to be a DVD.)

And that’s it. Nothing else to report, but that’s something, right?
