Grouper “Demona” (MP3)

Liz Harris is set to release a collaborative album with Tiny Vipers, which I’m over the moon, mad in love with the idea of. But check out the latest Grouper release, a cover of “Demona” by those old Portland punks Dead Moon. If you haven’t heard the original, check it out first here. Then check out the Grouper cover here, which is devastatingly doused in layer upon layer of fuzz and reverb. It’s kind of how I think hymns at church should sound. The song is part of a free 7″ that comes with the new issue of YETI Magazine.
