Gucci Mane arrested for pushing woman out of moving car

News of Gucci Mane being arrested is like news of smear campaigning going on in the Canadian elections – it’s inevitable. But the Alabama rapper’s latest arrest is a new low for a guy who has an ice cream cone tatted on his cheek.

Gucci was taken into police custody on Friday during a visit with his probation officer for a misdemeanor battery charge. According to the DeKalb County Police, in January the rapper (real name Radric Davis) picked up a woman at the mall, invited her out for some breakfast and then offered her $150 to stop in at a hotel with him. The woman refused (the ice cream cone had to have something to do with it), and so Gucci forced her out of his car while it was still moving.

According to the hospital report, the woman was okay but suffered from “soreness and pain.”

In addition to the battery charge, Gucci will also be charged with a parole violation.

This all comes at a perfect time for the rapper, whose newest album, The Return of Mr. Zone, was released last month to little acclaim.
