Guess who else is being considered for American Idol? Kanye, of course

Not like there weren’t enough names thrown into the rumour mill about who might be potentially taking a seat on the judges panel on the upcoming season of American Idol, but hey, we’ve got one more for you!

TMZ is reporting that Kanye West is currently in talks with the reality singing competition show. A source tells them that “he’s on the fence because he’s not sure if Idol is in his wheelhouse.” They’re also saying that money is going to be an issue if they want Kanye, especially after it was reported that newly-signed judge Mariah Carey is banking $18 million for her appearance on the show.
