No Doubt has made waves with their first album in over a decade (and their first hit with Settle Down) so speculation on another solo album from frontwoman Gwen Stefani has begun. Unfortunately for solo-Gwen fans, it doesn’t look like it is in the cards. Talking with The Daily Mail, Gwen spoke out on another solo stab saying, “No, I don’t think so… I was always thinking of that as a moment in time and you can never say never. But these last couple of years have been overwhelming for me, with having so much going on, and my husband being on tour, and just trying to do it all, which is not possible.”

In the last decade Gwen has married, had two kids, completed two solo albums and their respective tours, and now this new triumphant return of No Doubt has made a solo comeback nearly implausible. But even that last effort was a bit of a stretch as Gwen shared, “We were only able to get together three days a week and, because I had the kids, there was only a limited amount of time.” Gwen continued, “I was exhausted by the time I got there, so it was a struggle trying to weigh and balance everything out with the kids. But it was that fight that made the record so great.”
