48 hours until chaos descends in the form of Schmooze, V-Fest and the Toronto International Film Festival. 2 weeks of no sleep, a million stars and racing from red carpet to dark cinemas. I have to say though that it is my favorite time of year. Good movies, music and sightings of my beloved Gael Garcia Bernal. Yum. Though to be very honest what I am most excited about is interviewing the insanely talented M.I.A. this weekend. Her new album is amazing and the story of how she made it is just as good. I can’t wait to talk to her about it! Watch for our V-fest special on The NewMusic!
