Hanni El Khatib “Family” (Video)

February 27th, 2013

L.A. garage rocker Hanni El Khatib is prepping the release of his second album, Head in the Dirt, for April 30th. The follow-up to 2011’s Will the Guns Come Out was produced by Dan Auerbach of the Black Keys – y’know that guy with all the Grammys? Here’s the video for first single “Family,” which finds an underwear-clad biker gang livin’ it up, fast and furiously. Watch it with the sound off and it plays like a Benny Hill homage.

Director Nick Walker told Noisey:

I directed the video in the beginning of Jan 2013 up at the Wright Ranch in Malibu. I had written that treatment 3 yrs ago in a notebook with other ideas and concepts. After a few conversations with Hanni about different video ideas… I sent him over some scans from the notebook with a few different ideas. A year after receiving these he asked me if I was still interested in doing the Wild Asian Motorcylce Sex Gang video… And I said of course.
