The Oscar nominations were announced today and even though the March ceremonies celebrate the best in film, there is a category that acknowledges the best songs featured in these films. The five tracks up for the Best Original Song award this year are all extraordinary contributions to their respective movies, but are all stand up songs on their own and we think you should give them all a spin before the award is handed out on March 2nd (airing on CTV).
