<3s (hearts) Stereos!

Hey y’all!! Get ready cause I’m about to go off about how great my job is, AGAIN! First I have to take a moment to apologize for not posting this yesterday but it was recovery day.

Anyway, Sunday I had the chance to hang out with Stereos for the day! The guys were opening for Katy Perry at the Molson Amphitheatre. Now I’ve seen the guys a few times, hanging around the office, shooting disBAND, at the MMVAs, but I’ve never really seen them put it down before. I wasn’t totally sure of what to expect.

Sidebar – the day started off kinda slow and the guys had to deal with the important stuff right off the bat – food! Surprise, surprise.

Sound check kicked off with torrential rain – blah, but it was so cool watching the guys work out the kinks in an empty arena. After sound check we were off to the first of two meet and greets with some lucky fans who got to come backstage. The cutest girls and guy! The whispers of ‘I love you’ to various members of the band and the abrupt phone calls to friends were hilarious!

Sidebar – I have to say it’s really cool watching a band at this stage in their career. I’ve had the opportunity to meet a lot of celebrity type people over the years but honestly it’s the guys that are just coming up in the game who are the most fun.

So, it’s show time and this is where I actually felt a little nervous.

Sidebar – Toronto crowds can be really snobby and I really didn’t want to be anywhere near the stage if this ship started to sink.

Cue the goose bumps – Stereos totally exceeded my expectations. The guys had the fans from the moment they walked on stage and they totally killed the show. It was so impressive to watch the sea of girls singing along to all the bands songs especially since they only have the one single and no album out yet.

Final thoughts on the day, so much fun! Stereos have an incredible work ethic and they proved that they are totally deserving of everything happening to them.
