Hellcats aim for Guinness Book of World Records

To promote the debut of the amazing first season of Hellcats, a cheerleading event is attempting to be inducted into the Guinness Book of World Records for the Largest Cheerleading Dance! Squads from all over the US are being invited to the Frisco Memorial Stadium in Frisco, TX, on September 4 to participate in a five-minute synchronized cheer routine.

The record, currently holding at 297 cheerleaders, definitely looks like it’s on track to being smashed with over 2,400 cheerleaders having rsvp’d to the event already! The squad that brings the most cheerleaders wins $4,000! How many hair ribbons is that in cheerleading dollars?
