Marti gets caught, Alice catches a thief and Vanessa is caught in the middle! Find out what went down on Episode 10 of Hellcats in the recap below and get caught up on last weeks recap here!
The Hellcats have gone old Hollywood! Marti is dressed as Marilyn Monroe and apparently can’t make a decision between Dan and Lewis, so she doesn’t!

It was all a dream, but her feelings for Dan sure aren’t. This can’t end well!

While getting a drink at a coffee cart that morning, Alice can’t help but feel like people are laughing at her.

When she finally gets to practice, Vanessa fills her in on why she’s now the most popular student at Lancer. It seems that pictures she took of herself and emailed to Jake a few weeks ago have made their way to almost the entire student body…of her naked body. Oh no.

Alice shrugs it of like it’s no big deal, but out in the hallway Lewis confronts her and Alice breaks down. The two of them take off to beat the crapola out of Jake. They get to Jakes room, who immediately goes on the defensive and tells them that his phone was stolen. Alice believes him and calls on Lewis to back off.

They start thinking about who has a beef with Jake, and Lewis remembers a run in Jake had with another Lancer football player, Damien, while Lewis was still on team. The Hardy Boys and Nancy Drew starting looking through Damien’s locker and find Jake’s phone…and Damien. Damien admits to taking the phone and sending out the pics, but points out that with Bill Marsh in charge and Alice’s recent hijacking of the sports magazine cover, no one is going to touch Damien. Defeated, they leave empty handed when Red walks into the room and catches them.

Dealing with her own drama, Marti and Morgan get caught working extra hours on Travis’ case by their Prof. He throws them off the special committee and tells them to not see Travis anymore.

As if that isn’t enough, Dan continues to bring up the make out sesh that he and Marti shared a few days ago. He can’t get over the guilt of cheating on Savannah, but Marti begs him to keep quiet and not tell anyone what happened.

Vanessa has been feeling ignored by Derek, who keeps telling her to be patient and wait for his job to settle down. But when will that be? He seems to be working constantly and never has time for Vanessa.

Later that day, Vanessa runs into Red and the two end up taking about Alice’s situation. Red seems to be doing a great job of getting closer and closer to Vanessa. Personally, I’m totally on Team Red for this one.

It appears that one of the things keeping Derek away from Vanessa is a big secret. He’s learning…to dance! Oh boy. Poor Savannah has her hands full trying to teach the Doc a remedy for his bad moves and Dan is there to film the whole thing. But why is he learning to dance?

When Alice asks Marti for legal advice on how to deal with Damien, Marti tells Alice that unfortunately there is no law protecting her privacy in this case. Frustrated with the confinements of the law, Marti decides to ignore her teacher’s request and visit Travis. Unfortunately, one of the prison guards phones her prof and he shows up at the jail and catches Marti with Travis, quitting the case and leaving Travis without a real lawyer.
Darwin, another member of the Hellcats, overhears Alice’s conversation with Marti and decides to help her out. He knows something about Damien that he thinks Alice can use to get back at the football player.

Upset, Marti drops the class and tells her Prof that took his class because of his high moral standard and doesn’t want to be taught by someone who would quit on their client when they need them most.

Alice sneaks into the football team’s dressing room and steals Damien’s key to his room. Red sees her and follows her, catching her right before she put her plan into motion.

Red hauls Alice back to Vanessa’s office, where Alice tells them that Darwin told her that Damien is gay. Alice planned on getting evidence by leaving a webcam on in Damien’s room and then outing him to the school. Vanessa tells Alice a story about a friend of hers who was outed in high school and committed suicide as a result. Thankfully, Alice decides to not go ahead with her plan. Instead, she and Darwin put together a class schedule for Damien that involves every feminist and gender studies program available at Lancer and threaten to out him if he doesn’t take the classes and become a better person. He takes the deal.

Marti, at home working on Travis’ case, gets a visit from her prof. He apologizes for the way he acted and wants Marti and Morgan back on the case. He agrees to take Travis back as a client. Score one for Legally Blonde Marti!

Savannah tricks Vanessa into making a pit stop in the Orpheum Theatre on their way to dinner, where Vanessa finds a very Michael Jackson-esque dancing Derek and the entire Hellcats team performing for her. At the end of the impressive routine (he really got THAT good in a few days?) Derek proposes and Vanessa says yes! Hmmm…my Team Red isn’t doing so well.

At the bar that night the whole team is there to celebrate Derek and Vanessa’s engagement. Even Red stops by to give his congratulations. She may be engaged to Derek, but that night Vanessa has a dream about kissing Red. This SOOOO ain’t ovah yet.

The next morning Dan shows up at Savannah’s room and tells her that he needs space and time apart. She slaps him (has anyone noticed how violent she is for someone who is supposed to be soooo religious)? and throws him out of her room. Roh row.
