Hello? Green Day? Over Here!

Colour me confused: Green Day has released a list of cities and the corresponding venues they’ll be playing in on their Summer-Fall tour in support of their upcoming album 21st Century Breakdown. Which is all fine and dandy.

But check out this list: where is the Toronto date? While you lucky schmucks in the surrounding area (read: Detroit, Hamilton, Ottawa, Montreal) enjoy your shows, we’re kinda left in the totally unfair dark.

Wild speculation over the blank dates in their otherwise stupid-full calendar can only mean they’ll either be here on July 15th… or in September. For V-Fest, maybe? Seems crazy, but I’m willing to grasp at any straw I can find at this point.

What will you do if Green Day forgets about Toronto completely? Road Trip? Hunger strike? Send them a letter every day soaked in your tears telling the band how you’re their biggest fan and asking them politely to schedule a Toronto date? Start a petition? Join six new religions and stock up on extra deities to grant your prayers? Tell us! I need ideas…
