Aubrey Drake Graham has been busy since spending seven seasons as aspiring rapper and wheelchair bound high school student Jimmy Brooks on Degrassi. Sure, the Toronto native has gone on to sell millions of records and become one of the most famous musicians of the decade, but that doesn’t mean he’s forgotten his roots.
On this third studio album Nothing Was The Same, released last month, Drake rapped “5 a.m. going shoot Degrassi up on Morningside”. It got us thinking, what if Drake was still on Degrassi?

Alli’s French boyfriend Leo has flown in from Paris to be with Alli and essentially alienate her from her friends and school work.
Alli’s friends Jenna and Clare haven’t yet forgotten or forgiven Leo for the bruises he gave Alli in Paris and naturally aren’t too jazzed that the Frenchman has flown to Toronto.
Drew is ready to take on the role of Degrassi Student President and put the last year behind him, but with visions of his dead brother Adam constantly on his mind, Drew hasn’t slept in weeks. Unfortunately, his body decided that the first day of school assembly would be the best time for a nappy pappy.
When Drew finally agrees to take the sleeping pills prescribed to him, they have negative side effects. Like, Drew sleep walking and ordering all the supplies for a Beach Bash at school.
They also make him call new student Zoe in his sleep instead of his fiance Bianca. Roh row.
As his vice president, Clare hopes to rein Drew in. Unfortunately, she gets fed up with him quickly and leaves Drew to try to fun the school on his own.
