Hot Debut: Arctic Monkeys – in their first week out 7,000+ units…per capita significantly higher selling here than in US

Still #1: Avril – nearly platinum @ 95,000+ units

Surprises: Mika still consistent at #7, selling 5,000+ last week and this week; PCD *rising* sales +23%

Consistent: JT, Gwen, Nelly, Akon, Finger Eleven

Ok we get it: Nickelback 5x Platinum @ 521,000+

United States

Hot Debuts: Joe @ 98,000+, Arctic Monkeys @ 44,000+

Still #1: Avril – 120,000+ this week

Consistent: NIN; Akon; Gwen; Amy Winehouse @ 34,000 this week and last; Joss Stone rising +29%; Corinne Bailey Rae.

Le Sigh: Nickelback after 82 weeks on the chart @ 26,000+ this week!!!; Daughtry, Carrie Underwood, Fergie all selling consistently well.

No surprise: Duff doing pretty well @ approx 30,000 this week and last…was #1 in US on debut, #3 in Canada
