How much does it cost to make Lady Gaga out of wax?

Every celebrity and their grandparents are getting wax figures these days, but what on earth do these stacks of wax cost?

If you’re Lady Gaga, well, it’ll run you approximately $300,000. But if you’re adventurous like Madame Tussaud, well, you’ll order eight of ‘em, all in her different, flamboyant costumes, which will then escalate to $2.4 million.

According to TooFab.com, the world famous wax museum has commissioned their artists to make eight Lady Gagas, each of which will have completely different looks and take up to four months to create.

Hopefully, for the museum’s sake, Gaga won’t be a flash in the pan any time soon, seeing as they are laying down some serious coin to commemorate her.

The Gaga figures are set to debut on December 9, 2010 in New York, London, Las Vegas, Berlin, Shanghai, Hollywood, Amsterdam and Hong Kong.
