In anticipation for the men of The Hunger Games to take the New.Music.Live. stage in the MuchMusic studio this afternoon there has been no shortage of Mockingjay pins lining the streets outside of 299 Queen St. West. From signs declaring their love for Peeta, Gale and Cato to fans re-reading the trilogy to pass the time until this afternoon’s taping of New.Music.Live. at 4:15, the feel of excitement outside of MuchMusic today is thanks to the appearance of The Hunger Games cast.
The male stars of The Hunger Games, including Josh Hutcherson as Peeta, Liam Hemsworth as Gale and Alexander Ludwig as Cato, have been keeping busy until their appearance this afternoon on New.Music.Live., appearing on CP24 and The Marilyn Denis Show this morning. Having premiered the film in Los Angeles and Europe, the Canadian premiere of The Hunger Games will happen across the street from MuchMusic tonight at the Scotiabank Theatre.
Fans can catch a glimpse of The Hunger Games cast this afternoon by coming down to MuchMusic at 4:15 for the pre-taping of New.Music.Live. Watch Peeta, Gale and Cato on today’s special edition of New.Music.Live. at its brand new time of 6 pm ET on MuchMusic.

Hoping to catch a glimpse of their favourite Hunger Games characters, fans have been lined up outside of MuchMusic since the early hours of the morning.

Hunger Games enthusiasts have crafted home made signs to welcome the men of The Hunger Games, including Liam Hemsworth, Josh Hutcherson and Alexander Ludwig.

In preparation for tonight’s Canadian premiere of the film, Scotiabank Theatre has covered its doors in Hunger Games artwork.
