Hurray! Degrassi receives a primetime Emmy award nomination

The 64th Annual Emmy Nominations were announced this morning and here at MUCH we are ecstatic to share the news that Degrassi has been nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award in the category “Outstanding Children’s Program”. Submitted for consideration from Season 11 was Episode 1121, titled Extraordinary Machine (Part 2), in which Eli opens his play, Love Roulette, Anya gets busted for her drug habit and KC and Jenna give Tyson up for adoption (watch the episode again here).

Other programs also nominated for Outstanding Children’s Program include Good Luck Charlie, iCarly, Victorious, and Wizards of Waverly Place. The Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards will take place on Saturday, September 15th.
