I had a great time at Warped Tour…so many hot tattoed punk rock boys (okay I know Lars wasn’t there…but he comes to mind when I think hot+tattoed+punk rock) how could you go wrong? The playdead crew had a bit of trouble on the way up..and back. The giant hearse (that’s the company car!) overheated on the way up. Luckily we knew a lot of people headed to Warped, who saw us on the side of the highway and helped (and a bunch who just drove by and gave us the finger! Gotta love those nihilistic punk rock buddies)

My fave part of the day was watching Death By Stereo on a really small stage. The circle pit in front was outta control! I also enjoyed sets by Jersey (they always put on a great show) and Bad Religion (legendary…but I had to leave before they finished). The only dissapointing part was the perf by N.E.R.D. …I was so hyped to see them, but then they turned out to be kinda boring. I just think it’s lame when bands say that you have to be high to really enjoy their music (if the music is good it should give you that feeling) I don’t like it when anyone tells me I have to be…well anything. C’mon Pharrell, you’re obviously a smart dude, what was goin’ thru your brain underneath that mesh cap?
