I Know I Talked Smack About Kris Allen, But…

…maybe he proved me wrong last night on American Idol. I didn’t watch the whole show, but I heard that most performances were pedestrian. Adam did so-so with his versions of U2′s “One” and Aerosmith’s “Cryin’” and I don’t even know what Gokey did. Alls I knows is that Kris Allen may have earned himself a one way ticket to the hot tamale train (oops, wrong show) finale with his surprising rendition of Kanye West’s “Heartless” – turning the track into an acoustic game changer.

What do you think – good enough to make it a Lambert/Allen finale?
