Check out the brand new video for Franz Ferdinand’s next single “Walk Away” (in the UK only - we’ll get “The Fallen” instead, and a video soon-ish) on their fansite.

The video, directed by Scott Lyon, is a throwback to Alfred Hitchcock’s 1950s film noir style, complete with black and white footage, a chase scene, double agents and a frightened blonde protagonist. Check out the evil sneer on Nick’s face (top right); he looks so menacing but when I interviewed him a few weeks back he was a total lamb! And the po’ boy caps suit the lads just fine!

Walk Away is by far my favourite song on the new album so I’m thrilled that there’s a video to accompany it.
