Ice Cream’s #1 Hater: Lady Gaga

The world is not ready for Baby Gaga: The Ice Cream. A store in London, England recently stocked up on a new flavour made “from human breast milk” flavoured with vanilla and lemon. And Lady Gaga is pissed.

She issued a statement aimed at the ice cream manufacturers, Icecreamists Parlour, saying she’d take legal action for their “nausea-inducing” product and that the company was “riding the coattails” of her fame.

Lady Gaga didn’t realize the ice cream was taken off shelves a week before she issued her statement. It was removed due to health concerns serving food made from bodily fluids could potentially lead to the spread of viruses. It’s currently under review by British health officials.

In retaliation, the Icecreamists Parlour released their own statement saying “a global superstar has taken umbrage at what she describes as a ‘nausea-inducing’ product. This from a woman with a penchant for wearing rotting cows’ flesh.”

Lady Gaga also slams the company for using the word “gaga” and using her fame as a selling tactic. Icecreamists Parlour fired back saying “she claims we have ‘ridden the coattails’ of her reputation. As someone who has … recycled on an industrial scale the entire back catalogue of pop culture to create her look, music and videos, she might want to reconsider this allegation. How can she possibly claim ownership of the word ‘gaga’ which since the dawn of time has been one of the first discernable phrases to come from a baby’s mouth?”

No word yet on any response from Lady Gaga, or if we’ll ever see Baby Gaga on shelves again. Icecreamists Parlour state the breast-milk donors are also blood donors and have been screened by hospitals already.
