If You Don’t Have A Wristband…

Don’t walk around like screamy McScream-ums Emily Haines in the above photo just because you don’t have a wristband. The good news is that you can STILL come down for the party & hang out in the streets. Besides, the streetz is more hardcore, knowmean? Wristband access gets you in the parking lot and within a certain area in front of the John St stage. But yeah - the streets are closed for a reason!

For those who’ve asked, rehearsals go down Saturday and Sunday afternoon, so if you want a cheery, sunbaked look at the night’s performances, you know what to do…

it’s not fair how ppl lined up for wristbands over night .. and got up really early on the 14th .. and ppl get to go and get them now .. like wth is that .. ?

You can’t get a wrist band at the door dummies. Read what it says, you can’t get a wristband, but” The good news is that you can STILL come down for the party & hang out in the streets.” So you can listen and maybe see a bit, but you wont have access to the parts which are in closer proximity to the stages.

oh good.. cause i dont have wrist bands.. i was gona go down and wait for how ever long it took but i had no way of getting downthere… anyways thats a relief its gona be amazing!

That’s great someone finally clears that up. I was thinking of e-mailing someday to ask about the streets. I’m in Winnipeg and have been able to fly in for the awards night in the past, but not three weeks before that to get a wristband. It’s too bad you couldn’t give out the wristbands on Saturday, the day before, to accomodate out-of-towners. Thanks for the heads up, though.

1. Go here to vote: http://www.muchmusic.com/events/mmva07/vote/index.aspx

2. To get a good spot for MMVA night, you’re gonna want to be here by at least 1-2pm, no jokes. Maybe earlier. (If you don’t have a wristband. But even if you do, show up earlier than you were told to get a good spot)

3. For rehearsals, show up by 6 today, or 1 tomorrow.

4. You can’t get wristbands anymore, but you can still come down and hang in the streets.
