Britney debuted her latest video on britneyspears.com this morning, and *GASP* … it’s got salacious undertones. Cover your ears!

I have beef with media that states the obvious (example: a movie uses its dialogue to explain exactly what is happening in the plot [when you already figured it out long ago]). So excuse my eye roll when the fake newscast at the beginning of the clip states, “Britney Spears lyrics spell out obscenities in disguise”. Um, yeah we know. That’s the point of the song. The only person who doesn’t know is your great grandpappy, and I’m pretty sure you don’t want him to know. And besides, isn’t it a bonus if you get away with saying “f*ck me” in a chorus without getting caught?

Anyhoods, it’s official that sexy Britney is back in full effect (if you didn’t realize after “Womanizer” or “Circus”). The clip’s got a party orgy vibe that feels a little “Slave 4 U”ish, and after a hot dance scene, Brit changes into a 50’s house mom get-up and walks outside with a pie to pose for the paps. So what’s your interpretation of this? An over exaggeration of Brit’s own life, trying to play the good girl to make up for her tarnished image? The bipolar life of being a party girl and a good mom?
