Important info for Monday’s show with The Hunger Games cast!

You’ve got questions and we’ve got answers! If you scored a wristband to this Monday’s taping with the cast of The Hunger Games on New.Music.Live. OR you want more info on watching the show from outside MuchMusic then this is your one-stop blog for all your queries.

Please read the entire blog and if you still have questions you can submit them in the comment section below. We’ll do our best to answer anything that has not been covered in this blog.

I WON WRISTBANDS TO BE IN THE AUDIENCE! NOW WHAT?

Congratulations! If you got wristbands, you would have received a phone call telling you that you won! More information to come on when to arrive if you have a wristband. Not all wristband winners have been contacted yet.

If you have received a call telling you that you won a wristband to Monday’s taping, please arrive at the John St. doors no later than 3 pm. The show is being pretaped at 4:15 pm.

Really important – you MUST bring photo ID with a birth date on it. NO EXCEPTIONS. If you don’t have ID, you won’t be allowed inside.

If you’re watching New.Music.Live. from home, please tune into our new time of 6 pm ET!

I’VE GOT MY WRISTBANDS AND I’M COMING INSIDE! CAN I BRING MY CAMERA?

You can definitely bring your camera to take pictures of the cast but, we cannot guarantee that the cast of The Hunger Games will pose for photos.

Also, no professional cameras allowed. Basically, if your camera is huge and used by paparazzi, you will be asked to check it. If it’s a cell phone or small digital camera, you’re good!

WILL THE CAST OF THE HUNGER GAMES SIGN MY POSTER/CD/BOOK/ETC?

Sorry, we can’t guarantee that the cast will sign anything. We know that the guys are super excited to see all of you but, they won’t have time to sign hundreds of autographs.

IF I DIDN’T GET WRISTBANDS, CAN I STILL COME DOWN TO WATCH THE SHOW FROM THE STREET?

Absolutely! This is MuchMusic, so we totally want you to get closer to the cast of The Hunger Games. Please note that NML will be pretaped on Monday, March 19 starting at 4:15 pm. If you want to see the cast of The Hunger Games on NML from outside of MuchMusic then be sure to come down before 4:15 on Monday.

Make sure that you wear warm clothes and dress appropriately for the weather. If it’s raining or snowing, you might want to bring an umbrella. Some bottles of water and snacks are also a good idea.

CAN I SLEEP OVER ON SUNDAY NIGHT TO GET A BETTER SPOT ON THE STREET?

Sorry, no. We want to make sure that everyone stays warm and safe so we will not be allowing people to sleep over on the sidewalk on Sunday night.

You can begin lining up for a spot on the street on Monday morning at 7 am. No earlier!

MY FRIEND’S MOTHER’S COUSIN’S NEPHEW TOLD ME I COULD GET IN. IS THAT OK?

If you didn’t get a phone call from us and your name is not on the list, you will not be allowed inside. But you can still come down to watch the show from John Street! MuchMusic is located at 299 Queen St. West at the corner of Queen St. and John St. in Toronto.

ARE YOU SURE I CAN’T SLEEP OVER TO GET A BETTER SPOT ON THE STREET?

Yes, we are sure! Come on down on Monday morning at 7am.
