So last night I attended the Incubus show at the Molson Amphitheatre that was originally scheduled for sometime in February. When I found out for the second time that the show was rescheduled I was getting a bit impatient. A few months passed and the show quickly approached. The whole day before the concert I was thinking to myself “This better be a freaking good show! They made me wait this long to see them.” And let me tell you that they did not disappoint. It was a stellar show. I’m a sucker for a good light show and Incubus had, what I believe to be, one of the best light shows I’ve seen at a concert in a long time. With the way they played and the light show it made for an awesome show. They started off the concert with Quicksand which is off of Light Grenades. They followed that up with another hit off of Light Grenades - A Kiss To Send Us Off. Then they pulled out an old one - Wish You Were Here off of Morning View. Which Brandon Boyd barely had to sing because the crowd did it for him! Brandon also got help from the crowd on the next track they played. It was their hit single off Light Grenades - Anna Molly. They played other hits such as Drive, Megalomaniac and Dig where the whole Amphitheatre were singing along.

During Pistola the whole band just jammed for a good couple of minutes which I truly enjoyed and was surprised by. Another thing that surprised me and that I extremely enjoyed was the extended solo during Sick Sad Little World. They ended the show with Aqueous Transmission which I think is a great song because guitarist Mike Einziger played this weird instrument instead of a guitar and it sounded phenomenal. As the song was nearing its end, Brandon Boyd said goodbye and walked off stage. Then bassist Ben Kenney stopped playing and left the stage. Soon after drummer Jose Pasillas got up and left with DJ Chris Kilmore leaving guitarist Mike Einziger alone on stage playing. He then stopped playing and got up and left the instrument on a small seat with a light shining on it. Sweet way to close a kickass show!
