Is Britney Spears engaged?

While TMZ was reporting that Britney Spear’s former manager and longtime boyfriend Jason Trawick was planning on proposing to Spears tonight while in Las Vegas on vacation (how do they know this stuff?), it seems that Trawick may have gone ahead with proposing without notifying the internet. The nerve.

This morning Spears tweeted OMG. Last night Jason surprised me with the one gift I’ve been waiting for. Can’t wait to show you! SO SO SO excited!!!! Xxo. Could this gift be a big ol’ rock? If you like it then you shoulda put a ring on it. Oh wait, wrong pop star. But still, if this means an engagement for the couple – congrats! Especially after seeing Trawick in Spears’ video for Criminal. Get it, gurl.
