We’re exactly two weeks away from getting our country/pop-loving little paws on the new T Swizzle album, Speak Now. In addition to Mine (check out the video here) and of course hearing Swift sing Innocent at the MTV VMAs this year (hai Kanye), we are getting sneak-ay peek-ay at another song off Speak Now.

Taylor has revealed that Back to December (which you can listen to here) is an apology to a person she was ‘careless’ with. I’m gonna go out on teeny tiny limb here and make the assessment that the song is about that other Taylor we all love so much, Mr. ‘Jacob Black’ Lautner himself. Let’s discuss.

- The song is titled Back to December. Taylor squared ended their relationship in December 2009.
- Taylor Swift sings, “I miss your tan skin, your sweet smile”. Taylor Lautner = tan skin, sweet smile.
- Swift also sings about being in love in the ‘summer’ and in ‘September.’ Rumours of the two Taylor’s dating heated up in the fall of 2009, meaning they were probably able to keep things on the down-low for a few months prior to the fall.
- Swift has always been upfront about her lyrics being extremely autobiographical, even going as far as to include the names of the guys she’s dated in the songs.
