It is so …

It is so hot.  I hate to dwell on the subject (I’ve been talking about the heat to everyone who will listen) but I think the more I complain about something, the more likely that thing is to change.  Incidentally, I’m really annoyed by the absence of a big sack of money on my desk right now.

I’ve been moving things all weekend.  None of it was mine, all friends stuff or friends of friends.  Moving is often touted as one of the worst things ever, but I’ve found a good formula to surcumvent the horror; don’t agree to do anything, and then everything you do people have to be greatful for.  That way, you can look tough by carrying boxes way to heavy for you, and you get more thanks than anyone.  I got the award for best mover, in spite of the fact that I broke a couch in half by dropping it.  I’m that good of a mover!
