It’s Over But Man It Was A Party!

Can you believe it’s over???? We’ve waited for this day to happen for the past few weeks and now it’s over. My fav MMVA moment had to be when Emily Haines of Metric jumped into the audience to crowd surf. She totally embodies a true rock star. Honestly who has enough balls to stage dive in dress and heels? Wonderful, absolutely wonderful. Another kickin performance had to be Nelly Furtado’s with Timbaland. Those two just killed the show! They have such good chemistry. You think Timbaland would be all tough and everything but no, he’s one big ol’ softie. Okay, maybe softie is the wrong choice for words but he’s definitely a good guy. Man, there were soo many standout performances that night. I probably could go on and on about it… But instead I’m going to move onto some of the stargazing I was able to do while I was running around…
- Kardinal was chowing down on a yummy ice cream at one of the food stands in the Party Tent.
- The boys of Alexisonfire were wandering the building, chatting up with a bunch of partygoers.
- As Simple Plan headed out they passed by Nelly and Timbaland and gave props to the both of them. Canadians are so friendly.
- Tricia Helfer was looking very modelesque as she strolled around the patio.

Well guys, it looks like I’ve got to get back to work. Stay tuned because in the next couple days we’ll be working harding to post some exclusive MMVA treats like interviews, photos and more crew blogs!

  1. this years mmvas were the best im onli 12 ans some guy who was 14 wasnt aloud to go to the front so he gave me his wristband and i caught emilie hains and it was awsome hedleys performance was really cool too and wen it was a comercial this guy told us to stop throwing water so we threw it at him that kicked ass
