Jack White + Jay-Z? Really?

Jack White and Jay-Z have collaborated on a “record.”

Speaking with GQ, White revealed that “I just did a record with Jay-Z.”

By record you might be thinking, “Hey, an album? That’s awesome!” But no, White subscribes to the Grammys approach of categorizing music.

That said, White described it as “incredible” and “unbelievable sounding.”

“We did a song together a few weeks ago,” he said. “It was incredible. I played him something that I’ve been kicking around for a while and he immediately came out with words for it. It’s unbelievable sounding.”

White didn’t really elaborate on the project in the interview, so who knows when or where this “record” will show up.
