Janelle Monae performs new song, “Electric Lady”

It feels like it’s been forever since we’ve heard new music from eclectic wonder woman, Janelle Monae, but it appears that the Tightrope singer is starting to test out some new material live.
In this clip below, we see Monae perform a new song called Electric Lady, which she dedicates to Erykah Badu. The song is a fun, slow number complete with a sexy bass line, a horn section and, of course, Monae’s signature voice soaring atop the music. No word yet on a new album, but this will do for now!
